Silesian Rhapsody (“Rapsodia Śląska”) was a great multimedia-musical spectacle in honor of the 100th anniversary of the First Silesian Uprising which took place at the Silesian Stadium. The music was composed by Jan A.P. Kaczmarek - the famous composer and Oscar winner.
Our main goal was to visualize 4 parts of the rhapsody. Each of them was created in different atmospheres and dramatic structures. The shape of the projection screen was inspired by the Monument of Silesian Insurgents. We mixed individual visual layers with live camera feeds to present over 300 artists’ performances and animations in the most attractive way.
